can’t even finish the intro

dad has the phone on speaker

in my face

“listen! did you hear! did you hear?!”

i hung it up “yeah. i’m on the honor roll. thanks. i’m trying to get this-“

“do you have to go on monday?”

“what time?”

“YOU WEREN’T LISTENING.” so he starts to replay it

i want to kill someone at this point. so, i try being nice. i hang it up again. tell him what im doing.

and i get yelled at.

i get yelled at for trying to do my homework because i didn’t listen to the friggin phone call that i can just get the info from a teacher.

i’m in the honor roll, dad. please don’t distract me or you won’t have much else to be proud of.

he threw off my groove.

this essay will take longer than intended.
